Rayman Legends is a platform video game developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft. It is the fifth main title in the Rayman series and the direct sequel to the 2011 game Rayman Origins. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PlayStation Vita platforms in August and September 2013. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were released in February 2014, with a Stadia version released in November 2021. A Nintendo Switch port, titled Rayman Legends Definitive Edition, was released in North America, Europe and Australia on September 12, 2017. The game carries on the style of gameplay from Rayman Origins in which up to four players (depending on the format) simultaneously make their way through various levels. Lums can be collected by touching them, defeating enemies, or freeing captured Teensies. Collecting Teensies unlocks new worlds, which can be played in any order once they are available. Along with Rayman, Globox, and the Teensies returning as playable characters, players can now control the new female character Barbara the Barbarian Princess, her sister and their cousins, once they are rescued from certain stages.

WHAT A GAME. A fun platformer that is just that. Fun. No need for overcomplicated story, and nice tight controls. Its all about keeping the fun in the game. The main goal is to jump in and do the level. And that is always nice. I really like this one to play with my kiddos

The complete kit and kaboodle for a video game. Hours of replayability and fun with the kids. It's like super Mario world but cranked to 11.

One of the few games that is almost ten years old and is still just as fun to play today as it was in 2013. Lots of replay value with older levels that can be unlocked and going back to find more teensies will have you playing levels multiple times. The best part of the game? The music levels that unlock after beating level bosses. you are forced to run and jump with the beat of the music which can be more challenging in later levels. You will catch yourself humming along Rayman versions songs and music. Black Betty by Ram Jam goes perfectly wit the first song level but my favorite has to be the Mariachi version of Survivors Eye of the Tiger. Game is on sale on Switch right now (10-17-22) and I would highly recommend. Great couch co-op to play with little ones!
