Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a 2021 third-person shooter platform game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 5. It is the sixteenth installment in the Ratchet & Clank series, with the game serving as a follow up to both 2013's Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus and 2016’s Ratchet & Clank remake. Rift Apart was announced in June 2020 and was released on June 11, 2021.

This was only the second R&C game I've ever played, the first being the 2015 movie spin off one.
And I freaking love it. Nice control of both characters, action packed, never TOO difficult to overcome, and it keeps you thinking of different ways to kill enemies with the different weapons it gives you.
I loved it.

This game was so much fun. It was the first time I’d played one of the R&C games and the experience on PS5 was flawless. One of the games I’ve hit 100% on and look forward to another play through at some point. The weapons in this game are fun to explore and challenge yourself with and the hidden items are nearly all easy enough to find that you don’t feel like you need to go find the YouTube link to get it accomplished.

This is one of those 1:1 games where like, if you have a PS5, you should have Rift Apart. It's one of the best looking games I've ever played. It's funny. It's action packed. Fun story. Wacky AF guns. Silly dialogue. Absolutely must play for PS5 owners.
