I'm still so overwhelmed to the point of tears that it's been a struggle to collect my thoughts and know just what to say. And I'm sure my efforts will still fall short of properly conveying the gratitude I feel...
Yesterday afternoon, @mariomaestro and I made plans to get together to play games. When I got to his house, he proceeded to tell me that he had an early birthday gift for me (I'm turning 40 on April 16th). What an absolute joy and shock to receive a brand new PS5 and Astro Bot from the Cr3w! I am so humbled by your generosity!
Seriously though, in what other community do you find such examples of friendship and generosity among people that have never even met in real life?! It just goes to prove that video games are an amazing social tool for creating genuine and lasting friendships!
I've had a lot of ups and downs these past few years. Finding a "third place" here at Channel 3 has meant more to me than I can put into words!
