Enjoy.

I'm not gonna lie the idea of it was nice and I played it for awhile but then it felt repetitive and like nothing was different. Never felt the joy that I felt when I would open cards in real life which makes sense but I just didn't enjoy. The beginning was good but after awhile I realized I don't like it at all. The concept is good and it has a chance but it needs to be better.
I pick up a lot of mobile games, I get hooked on the ones you shouldn't get hooked on, the ones that cost you money and play to FOMO.
So far Pokemon Pocket (I hope that name sticks, it's much shorter) isn't one of the bad games. You get plenty of free things to do and your rechargeable, in-game, currencies reload pretty quickly. Opening packs is super satisfying, the battles are short and simple, there are enough trophies and collectibles to keep you interested...all in all it's a decent mobile Pokemon game.
I'm only going 4 stars and probably being generous at that. I'm waiting for more meat to the game. Packs and collectibles are nice, but the things you can actually do are limited. Battles and missions are a little repetitious and you're capped in a few places to how many times you can collect a resource for doing the same thing more than a few times in a day.
I'm sure it'll grow and get better...if it doesn't then at least I haven't dropped a fortune in real life money on it.
Playing this as a game for me & my son to do together as he's into them at the moment & I've always loved Pokémon but never played the card game. The cards look amazing, the player experience after the first couple of hours is fantastic but not had much chance to do many battles yet. Might come back & change this rating once I've put in a few more hours but definitely so far so good
So far it's fun. I've collected 151 cards, and have done a few battles. Everything is simple and straightforward. It doesn't try to be flashy, but it also doesn't need to be. It works very well in it's simplicity.
So far it seems very simple. Open packs get 5 cards and move on. You get 2 packs a day free and if you wanna ball out you can do more. Haven't looked into the membership but there could be some nice perks that come with it. Not sure how battling will go but i think this has a lot of potential to be a fun game.
