Perfect Dark is a first-person shooter developed and published by Rare for the Nintendo 64 video game console in 2000. The first game of the Perfect Dark series, it follows Joanna Dark, an agent of the Carrington Institute research centre, as she attempts to stop an extraterrestrial conspiracy by rival corporation dataDyne. The game features a campaign mode where the player must complete a series of levels to progress through the story, as well as a range of multiplayer options, including a co-operative mode and traditional deathmatch settings with computer-controlled bots.

This Rare masterpiece is goldeneyes successor and ... dominator. It was such a great campaign and multiplayer experience. Easily five stars.

After goldeneye I needed something else and this fit the bill. I remember going to my neighbors house next door everyday for a week to finish it.

Goldeneye is the elephant in the room here, obviously, but Perfect Dark perfected so much of it: better single-player, deeper multiplayer. This one replaced Goldeneye as the go-to multiplayer game in my dorm.

This is so much beer than Goldeneye. I love the fact that each weapon has a secondary function, plus you can just fight bots with or without friends.

Senior Week was comprised of Perfect Dark, South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut, and the Cash Money Millionaires cinematic masterpiece Baller Blockin. Everything about Goldeneye was escalated with a SciFi twist. Even better multiplayer mode. Really a fun game that I had no idea where it was going. Maybe Rare will dust this one off too.

There are people who say Golden eye is better and those who say Perfect is Better. All I know is this was just as much fun as Golden eye. I couldn't be the only one to hide in the bathroom with the farsight right?
