Enjoy.

I love cooperative games, so I enjoyed this game early on! However, my knock against this game is that it's way too easy for one person to take over and start telling others the best thing for them to do. It becomes less cooperative and more solo player... That person usually being me, so I try to stay away from this type of game.
Pandemic is a solved game. If you pick your characters on a three person game then there is a "correct" way to play to always win. I don't enjoy that. There are other games that hit the same way.
If, on the other hand, you play with random characters, then this game is almost too hard to be any fun. The first few times thru you'll get close, then you'll start strategizing more and actually start doing worse then when you were just winging it.
Finally, if you're new and you're playing with an experienced player, then since it's co-op, your turns end up being dictated by what the other players know is the best move. So you really don't get to play your own turn, you just do what you're told.
The game itself might be a 5 star game, but so often the experience you have playing is a 2 star experience. The concept is great, save the world from a virus. It can be difficult and takes some thought. Which makes it a ton of fun.
The issue I have with it is it's a team game where everyone has their own character and you take your own turn to help the team win. Except usually, there is one person who "knows" better than everyone else and just tells everyone what to do. It turns the game into a one person game with 4 people sitting at the table.
Fantastic cooperation game. Serious strategy and it isn't always a win (like a lot of coop games).
This has become a go to for our family when we want something to play yet don't want to battle.
Too close to home. But srsly folks. What a great game. I always end up losing cause I don't kno how to cooperate with people yet. But it is a tome commitment
It was fine the first time played, but my issue with this and some other games like it is that it seems to just fall back to one person taking over and making the major decisions. I think it is very difficult to actually have everyone decide things and enjoy.
I enjoy this game but rarely beat it. It really depends on who you play with. Our game group is awful with this style of game but I know my cousins love this style of game and really enjoy these.
