Honestly I bought this game on a whim. Just like most survival craft games it's craft the best gear to survive. Except in this game it's craft the best car and survival tools to survive.

Something that has gotten me hooked on this game is the rogue like system of select a route, drive the route, collect resources while avoiding bad guys, then finally returning to the garage to apply said resources, and repeat as you solve the mystery/story

Besides the very very poor optimization (the common critique from what I have seen), the gameplay loop of this game is solid. I will most likely play it out till the end of the story as the simple gameplay loop has me hooked and excited for the upgrades my car can get. The story isn't too bad as well.

Bonus: Petey, a band I freaking love, has a song in this game for some random reason, soooooooo..... take that for what you will.
