I have spent so much time on this. Hanzo main. Before they massacred my boi and nerfed him. But this game started off so well. Such a great idea, such a beautiful array of characters and gameplays. I wish they would go back to this basic simple game. instead of what we are currently working on
Possibly the most hours I ever put into a game. Loved the characters and map designs, didn't care for how salty people were in competitive mode.
It's definitely a good thing they never made a far inferior sequel with a battle pass that overwrote the first game and made it unplayable :)
Played it a bit, I can see the appeal and it seems like a polished game but it is not for me. I'm willing to give OW2 another chance at some point and maybe it'll click.
I kept thinking that this game that was strickly PVP wouldn't be worth my money. I was wrong. I loved Overwatch. Had multiple friend groups that would play. Such a solid game!
I have more hours on one character out of the 32 in this game than most people have on most games. I've been playing since season 2, it's my most played game, I love it more than anything and it's a trash game that needs fixing.
While a solid hero shooter, it tends to get bogged down in an attempt to be the next esports craze (which, to be fair, it did become for some time). With more attention paid towards casual audiences without losing its competitive flair, this game could have made a solid foundation for Overwatch 2 to further butcher.
I can’t give this a super fair review because I only played it a couple of times. Seemed like a very fun game if I spent time learning it, but I decided not to put in that work.
Blizzard is literally deleting this game as soon as Overwatch 2 comes out. So disappointing that a game isn't even going to be able to be played once they roll out the glorified new patch they call "Overwatch 2"
From 2016-2018 this is the only game I played. A friend and I would get off work at 5 and play until midnight almost every night.. I’ve put many many hours into this game. It’s a shame what blizzard is doing with it and Overwatch 2.
