The concept for this was great, the fact that it took the body of overwatch 1, killed it and now it's parading around as if it was something new. When it's not. I play this but only because it's still overwatch 1
Overwatch is good for what it is, but my pain points with it are the limited lobby options and not having a chance at winning unless you have a pre-formed squad of buddies.
Originally i got away from ow2 bc of all the changes and it just didn’t feel right. The more i started playing it though the better it felt and with the recent changes it feels really good now. It’s a free game. Easy to hop in with many characters to learn from
So loved playing Overwatch early in the creation!
Overwatch 2 took everything that was good from Overwatch 1 and threw it out the window. I also believe that making it free to play gave the already toxic fandom a boost.
I find the game unplayable at this point because the players with minor exceptions.
A great game for people who haven’t played the original Overwatch. Needless changes made for a dense game that prioritizes making money and collecting pointless rewards. Still fun, but less so.
Never played the first Overwatch. I could see how people would pick this as their favorite game. Very team based gameplay, which can be fun and frustrating at times. Probably will only be played casually, but it is fun.
It's a great game to play with a team. Communication is key. A colorful game, with plenty of characters, weapons, and abilities. I never played OW1, but I can say I always have fun playing OW2.
In my opinion, it's the best game I've ever played. It set a very high bar as my very first first-person shooter. I've been playing the original game ever since the Winter Wonderland event in 2017, and I am now playing Overwatch 2. Check out my review for more!
It’s a really fun game to play with friends and it’s a fun concept of a battle royals type game but i would need to put in time if I want to be decent at this game and I don’t have time to do that otherwise it’s a really fun game
I am editing my first review where I reviewed after a few games.
I am hooked. I think this could be one of the top tactical games out there. I have never played a game where it is so important to know what your job is and not deviate from your duties and expect to win. It literally takes a team to win a game. I really suggest everyone give it a try and stick with it. I didn’t at first and fell off but now I can’t stop playing this. Part of it was I didn’t take @itswhitethunder and @nanner advice and stick with one character at first. Once I did that during the Battle Mercy challenge I not only learned tactics but I learned how to use other character as well by just playing the game and seeing how other played. This game is really close to getting on my Rushmore. Check it out and don’t get discouraged! You will get better!
I will give most free to play games a shot, and this one got me. I Was a huge TF2 fan 8 years ago and fell off. This takes me back to it and I couldn’t be happier. I love the objective matches with class based hero’s. Even if I’m not good I haven’t gotten frustrated in matches….. yet (only 45 matches in)
I did not play the first one so take this for what it’s worth. But this game feels exciting and fast paced. I’m a fan already. My son asked what it was like and i said “Apex mixed with Valorant.” I’m sure that’s ignorant but don’t kick me off this site please.
I am having a blast so far. I will give 5 stars once the get servers and queues figures out. However, it is basically just an update to Overwatch. Probably shouldn’t be called OW2
