Ori and the Blind Forest
Ori and the Blind Forest
Played this 100% through on the SteamDeck (which ran flawlessly by the way) and had so much fun! Graphics are great, mechanics are perfect, just a great game overall!

I just can’t not give five stars to puzzle games I just love them so much. The graphics and the entire world are just fricking amazing and they replay I like in most games. It reminds me of somewhat similar to breath of the wild type of a game.

Fantastic from start to finish. I’ve not played many metroidvania but this certainly will not be the last.

Fantastic game! This was the first game that I played because I saw others on C3 playing it and it didn't disappoint. The story is unique and the way it unfolds is very well done.

The game is much more challenging than I would have first thought. I expected this to be a relaxing game that I would sit back and enjoy like a Breath of the Wild, but the platformer mechanics are well used and complex. There was more than once that I had to try a jump over and over, killing our poor glowing hero again and again, before I was successful.

The way the background works in this game was very unique, things shift and move like you're in a real forest and sometimes things in the background have a direct affect on things in the foreground.

The music is top notch, it really pulls you in and leads you along as the story unfolds.

5 Stars and I can't recommend this one enought.

Beautifully done game from start to finish. Gameplay is a blast! Mechanics are simple, intuitive, and interesting. Movement is smooth and it's really satisfying when you complete a puzzle. Story is fairly simple, but compelling and emotional. The graphics and audio really do an amazing job at grabbing and holding your attention and keeping you immersed in the game. Can't recommend it enough for anyone who enjoys platformers, and I hear that the sequel is even better, so I'm off to play that next!

This is one of the best Metroidvanias ever. Gorgeous visuals, incredible music, tight gameplay, emotional story. I’m glad people have discovered this through C3

Ori and the Blind Forest
This game was very solid overall from the gameplay, to the visuals, and the music. It also is not a very long game which I liked about it. This was a game that I found out about on C3.

The recommendations didn't let me down. Everyone has been right. The animations on this are also beautiful, the soundtrack hits right, and there is considerable emotionality built in.

I should probably replay this as I’m playing through the sequel right now, but I remember it being really, really good. That being said, it was a little too short and linear than I typically like Metroidvanias to be. Great look and sound and a simple but compelling story, though. Highly recommended.
