Nintendo Switch
2017-03-03
The Nintendo Switch is a video game console developed by Nintendo and released worldwide in most regions on March 3, 2017. The console itself is a tablet that can either be docked for use as a home console or used as a portable device, making it a hybrid console. Its wireless Joy-Con controllers, with standard buttons and directional analog sticks for user input, motion sensing, and tactile feedback, can attach to both sides of the console to support handheld-style play.

Dare I say Nintendo's best system to date?

Only gaming thing I have other then mobile and it runs great has great games there's a reason this is one of the top selling game systems ever (I said one of not number 1)

Nintendo Switch
I might be biased here, but this console is amazing. Probably the easiest Nintendo console to travel with purely because it's a hybrid. The library is also the largest on a Nintendo console ever. I would give 5 stars but paying a subscription fee for peer-to-peer internet connection is kind of crazy. It's also unfortunate that the Virtual Console equivalent is locked behind Nintendo Switch Online + its expansion packs which just give access to consoles from a slightly later generation.

Nintendo Switch
The Nintendo Switch is a gaming chameleon. It's like having a console in your living room, a handheld on the go, and a party machine for your friends all in one. But the Joy-Cons sometimes feel like they have a mind of their own, and they're the clunkiest part of the console. Still, it's the only console where you can save Hyrule one minute and the next, owe a racoon a mortgage.

Love the system. Being able to play Nintendo games from my childhood again is fun

Good games and it has a massive micanic no one seen before with the controllers

Nintendo Switch
I’ve held off on getting one (though I’m soon rectifying that) mainly because, outside of Mario, the Switch hasn’t really had any exclusive single-player games that interest me.
Plus it’s frustrating that Nintendo still hasn’t permanently addressed joy-con drift.
Though being on Channel3 now, I want to get involved in the weekly MK tournaments!

It’s good love the games especially any Mario related game but the controllers break easily

Nintendo Switch
I had every Nintendo System up to the Wii (had GameCube but didn't play much) and when I saw the Wii U I though it looked over gimmicky and I passed. Then I saw the Switch come out and I still thought the portability of it was gimmicky and I passed on it for 3 years. Those are three years of Switch playing I missed out on. Although I am not a big portable/mobile player the ease of going from Switch to TV is awesome. I would probably play more on the Switch itself if the joycon were more comfortable like the controller attachment that comes with it. I wish Nintendo would allow you to buy older games like the Wii did but its still not bad with the virtual consoles. Nintendo has definitely found its niche in the gaming industry and I think they need to stick with it. I wonder what will be next for Nintendo but I think they can ride the Switch wave for many more years.

No words, best console to ever exist. If you don't own a Switch, you're wrong.

Nintendo Switch
Yes we all know this is what the Wii U was supposed to be. This console is peak Nintendo I think. It's got everything you'd want from a Nintendo system, from the games, to the look, to the weird games that use the Joycons in unique ways.

Nintendo Switch
I was definitely a late adopter of this system (fell off the Nintendo bandwagon with the Wii and WiiU), but boy am I happy I picked this up. Great titles, controls feel great (only had drift with a stick one time), and it's the perfect balance of portability and screen size (I take it with me whenever I travel)

Nintendo Switch
Probably the best system that Nintendo has released. The portability function of it was a brilliant idea, and probably stemmed from the gamepad on the Wii U

My favorite system to date. Love the portability factor and that I dont need to family room tv. The titles are nintendo library at its finest. If i could get God of War here I would never consider another system!

Nintendo Switch
The best portable system ever made. They also did a phenomenal job with the different versions. OLED is gorgeous and the switch lite is ideal for younger kids or families that may have multiple switches.

Games appeal to the nostalgia of adults and the youngest of kids. I’ve had some great memories so far gaming with the kids on the switch. An absolute great system for the family and the kids

Go from the living room to the car; boat, plane, or train doesn’t matter it will play the game. I have enjoyed mine for 3 years, you can do the same. Buy one today!

This is a defining system for Nintendo. The versatility of this system has lead to its sustainability. Way to go Nintendo

Nintendo Switch
They did good with this one... except the joy cons. They are a great concept, and if the stick drift wasn't so prevalent, and God awful, it could have been perfect. *Insert "we were this close to greatness" meme here*

It's portable, they did the online system really well. They have retroactive games without having to re buy them. This system is pretty good. But to have such a bad flaw in its OEM design is just... deflating.

Great for family gaming, Karting with buddies, and easy to pack up and take on the road. Some of the best games in history featuring all my favorite characters. Amazing

No one does portable gaming like Nintendo. I’ve loved the Gameboy, and now being able to play full Nintendo titles on the go is incredible.

Nintendo Switch
Nintendo hit the sweet spot real time. I understand now that Nintendo has accepted that they will not throw down with the PS/Xbox graphics and they will focus on their own games. Groundbreaking graphics? Nope. Convenience and generational games? Check.
I got the Switch very early on and was spending a lot of time in hotels and the Switch saved my sanity even early on when Breath of the Wild was the main game (and Kart). I easily spent 200+ hours devouring every corner of Hyrule.
Smash Bros., Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8, Mario Maker 2, Luigi's Mansion 3, Pikmin 3 (the last two were the first of their franchise I played), Fire Emblem Three Houses, Arms, so many more games that arr worth the time and money. A lot were retreads from the Wii U but I never bothered with that one so have at it!
I had a pro controller but it wasn't for me. I'm good with Joy-cons either handheld or strapped. Great versatility.
I am notorious for telling anyone who asks that they should not get the Lite. You may regret not having the ability to connect to the TV but you definitely won't regret having it even if you don't event up using the TV dock.
Last thing: I thought Nintendo was nuts when they said they designed this expediting multiple switches in a single home. Here I am with three in the home now as each kid has one. Their digital game policies leave something to be desired between multiple devices when this was their intent. Still keeping the 5th star.

Nintendo Switch
The Switch may be my favorite console ever. Works great in handheld mode (which is how I play 90% of the time) and I love that it frees up the TV for someone else. So many incredible games - Nintendo’s long lineage of first party games are superb this generation. My only complaint are the joycons since I’ve had two pairs that needed drift repair.

The perfect family system. Great for all ages and easy to travel with. Nintendo hit it out of the park with this system.

The Nintendo Switch may just be the best console of it's generation. Amazing exclusives, unmatched portability, and the ability to play with your friends in a multiple ways that is just unparalleled by other consoles of this generation.

Nintendo Switch
One of the best consoles ever made. Actually have 3 in my house, 2 regular and one lite. The games are awesome, the portability is great. My only complaint is the joycons themselves. Not the best design. But with some aftermarket stuff they can be made much better.

Nintendo Switch
I know I said the Gamecube is the G.O.A.T. but the Switch is actually my favorite console. I love to game and just have fun with it and not take things to seriously. Nintendo is great at that. But you can play on your TV or on the go and thats what makes this stand out above the rest

Nintendo Switch
I got this console as a wedding gift and literally didn't play it for an entire year. Smash Bros came out and now it's easily my most played console. Nintendo certainly redeemed themselves after the disaster that is the Wii U. Excited for more Nintendo exclusives to get release this year!

Nintendo Switch
The Switch is a great console, handheld? Either way, it does both so well. Whether I am sitting on a couch or riding on an airplane, I enjoy every aspect of it. A couple cons are the thickness of the joycons. After playing handheld for a little while my palms tend to hurt a bit due to how thin it is. The screen is another con, I feel the resolution/clarity isn't on par with what could have been. Either way its a great system, fun games and has shown the potential of a handheld/console system.

Nintendo Switch
This is going to be a long, random post: I was not a believer in the Switch. Did not think it, overall, it could contend with Xbox or Playstation. I turned down a Switch to continue playing Fortnite on my phone with my Xbox controller. No way it's any good, probably a solid thought by Nintendo but not for me. Then Apple vs Epic happened. Then I went on a work trip with a friend who let me play Mario Kart. I couldn't stop thinking about what I saw, how beautiful it was, how smooth it was. Over time, I finally found a Switch that I got "for the kids" & then another Switch so both kids had one and now we have 3 Switches. Since we've moved back to America, I haven't even attempted to hook my Xbox back up as the Switch with dock and handheld functions do everything for me that I need as someone who enjoys sitting on the couch & gaming but loves to game while on the go!

This is THE system. It is now my primary/only system. Perfect mix of on the go and in place. Perfect dad system as well.
Only quibbles are better battery life and MOAR POWER!

Nintendo Switch
Probably my favorite system I have ever owned! I love the Dock/Handheld combo! It is going to be interesting to see how Nintendo follows this up, but for now they are going to just ride this one out. And I’m okay with that! My only knock would be that Nintendo has tried to keep up with trends, like Fortnite, but the Switch just doesn’t even come close to the other systems in playing these types of games.

Nintendo Switch
I am not a sales numbers person. This is Nintendo's best system ever. It is an absolute genius development to be able to play full on games on a mobile device. The switch is versatile, offers a multitude of exciting games, and is a must have for any parents who want to introduce games to their kids.
