The heart of Channel 3 is rating and reviewing video games. What are your favorite games of all time? How about least favorite? The more games you rate, the more personalized Channel 3 becomes. You can even rate systems and make lists.

Whether it's 1 to 2, or 99 to 100, leveling up is the best feeling in the world. On Channel 3, when you participate in quests, when your post gets 1Up'd, when you crush a daily minigame, you get XP. Get 1k XP, and you level up and unlock rewards. Rewards can be custom reaction GIFs, cool backgrounds, or prize wheel spins for IRL gaming gear or in game currency.
Turbo is an optional subscription for superusers. You don't need Turbo to enjoy Channel 3. Turbo users get early access to new features, and are able to unlock more levels in a season.
On Channel 3, seasons last 3 months. They will always run January 1 - April 1, April 1 - July 1, July 1 - October 1, and October 1 - January 1.
Channel 3 is the social platform for gamers. You're welcome to browse. If you want to post, 1UP, respawn, comment, rate, review, complete quests, etc, you'll need to log in or create an account. (It's free.)
Open channel3.gg in Chrome. Click the Install icon in the right side of the address bar:
Click Install when you get this prompt.
After installation, you can pin to the Windows taskbar alongside your other favorite apps.
Open channel3.gg in Safari. It has to be Safari.
Tap the Share button in the middle of the footer.
Tap Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add on the prompt.
BOOM. You're done. iPhones try to act like it's "just a website bookmark" because they want everyone to go through the App Store but really it functions just like an app... Full screen, moveable icon on your home screen. All of it.

"We never owned one when I was a child but my friends and my Aunt had one. Multiple games played but what sticks out in my mind is of course Mario, duck hunt which seemed to be played using an unknown magic to me, and a game I can’t remember the name of. All I remember is I was a knight looking character on a kinda side scrolling game and I would have to jump up tree branches on the sides of the playing area. I had no idea what I was doing but I have a few memories in my memory bank playing this game as a 7-8 year old. The memories give it 5 stars. And if anyone knows what game I’m talking about let me know!

"See my profile pic. I hardly remember life without the NES. Nintendo is still able to coast on the successes they had with this and the franchises they created. The controller was perfect. Sure there were cartridge maintenance issues but so what. Mario, Zelda, all of it. 716 licensed games alone. Hall of Fame talent.

"My first console - I didn't even know what Nintendo was when my brother asked for it for Christmas. It was extremely important in my life and for the video game industry, but I just can't rate it 5 stars since the SNES was so much better. It fixed the issues reading the cartridges, had better controllers and much better games. I still have many fond memories playing the NES though, I enjoyed it for many years."

"I was born the same year this system came out and born in the place where the US Nintendo HQ is located, so the NES holds a special place in my heart. This was the system of my childhood. Everyone on my street had one except us…until my dad came home from the Navy Exchange with an NES hidden in a bag. What was cool is my dad nowadays is not a gamer but back then, he loved the NES just as much as we did, even threatening us from touching the system while he had his game of Mario paused so the neighbor could help him. The long lifespan of the system meant lots and lots of great games and this groundbreaking system is one that will always live on."

"What can I say that probably hasn't been said already. This was the beginning for almost everyone in generation. So many fun games to play and a lot were not what I would consider main stream games. Some of my favorites were Jackal, Skate or Die, Spy Hunter and Afterburner. Of course some became more popular over the years.
I think the controller was lacking, too small and cheap feeling compared the the Master System. The games on this system set it apart. I am glad to have experienced NES in its heyday and it will always hold a special place."
"Yup. I'm this guy. 4 stars. Here's why. The Nintendo could have been better if it was designed like the Famicom. As Europeans and North Americans missed out on so many titles that would have cemented this system as the best ever. Going from 60 to 72 pins was a mistake if you lived near sea water. The corrosive pin system created complications. Nintendo did send out free replacements for a long time on the pin connection. But other than that. The system was amazing. It brought to life a brand new invention of home gaming so epic it hasn't been matched to this day. "
"Truly innovative (at the time). I put in so many hours on this system. More than any other. I considered taking away a star because it had issues with the blinking reset button and not getting games to play without (SEEMINGLY) needing to blow out the cartridge, but that's part of the allure. "
