Not much different than from the past series of NHL. Still a fun game to hop on with your friends.

Since NHL14, I have participated in every NHL game! The graphics have improved steadily over time, and the games have always gotten better. They update rosters frequently, and they also regularly add new game modes like "Be A Pro" and "Ultimate Team." Even though there had been a slight update to the in-game content compared to NHL 2021, I decided not to buy the game when it was first released and instead waited until it was on sale over the holidays, because it was not a substantial update.
