MultiVersus is a free-to-play crossover fighting game developed by Player First Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game features various characters within the Warner Bros. Discovery catalog, including those from Warner Bros., DC Comics, HBO, Turner Entertainment, and Cartoon Network. The title is scheduled for release in 2022. for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The open beta for the game is set to be released on July 26, 2022, which was confirmed to serve as a soft launch for the game, while an early access version will be released one week prior on July 19 for those that participated in the game's closed playtests and via Twitch's Drops reward system.

I just started playing and I'm hooked. I love the characterization. Fighting style is very easy so far but I think it'll build.

This game has so much potential and hopefully once the full game drops it’ll show its flare. Still won’t top smash bros but it does have the potential to be a solid #3 platform behind rivals and smash.

Not gonna lie it blew away what my expectations were for it so far me and @scriptdogplayz have been having so much fun playing it together l. I love how it's like super smash bros but with all the other things like the rifts are really fun. All the characters are fun without it just being Nintendo related which makes it so much better.

A lot of fun to play as my favorite cartoon characters, but honestly feels like a cheap smash bros knock off.

I'm happy this game is free to play, and seeing the likes of Scooby-Doo's Shaggy in a game is always a high spot. Smash definitely feels more thought through but it will be interesting to see this game's progression.

Very fun, enjoyable fighting game. Doesn't hold my attention long term like smash bros does, but I'll continue to play it time to time. Definitely different enough and free to play is always a plus.

2024 update: The time off and updates really improved the game. Loved playing ranked mode. Learned I prefer platform fighters that don't have shields.

Fun game, directly competing with Smash Bros. While it is similar, it is also different. Being free it is worthy to grab.

A fun platform fighter. Originally thought it'd be somewhat of a flop like a certain other platform fighter from another company but I don't think that'll be the case for MultiVersus. Gameplay is really fun and being F2P is an added bonus. Unlock system is a bit like Pokemon Unite with new characters being free for a limited time to try them out.

Really liking this game. Thought it would play like Smash, but I am glad that I was wrong. It's a new feel that is Smash-like with it's own charm. Can't wait to see where this game is a couple months from now when whacky character like Rick and Morty drop. Also, Lebron James is in the game, so play for that meme alone.
