I debated on this one. Did I have fun playing this the one time I've played? Yes. Is it a game I would buy? No. It's a very fun game and graphics were very good as well, but as with other sports games it's too repetitive for my taste. I will say, I haven't had this much fun playing a baseball game since the Ken Griffey days!
MLB The Show 24 delivers a refined baseball simulation with enhanced graphics, fluid animations, and realistic gameplay that captures the essence of the sport. The addition of new game modes and improved AI adds depth and variety, keeping both newcomers and veterans engaged. While some legacy bugs persist, the game remains a top choice for baseball fans looking for an authentic and immersive experience.
I love this game. It is challenging yet encourages you to want to keep playing. I enjoy the play now and season games modes the best. I like being in control of the team and making trades/contracts. Hitting is difficult but that makes playing online and against friends more challenging and fun. I would say that this one is my favorite version of MLB the Show.
