Really fun game with seemingly unlimited options for creativity. I only give it four instead of five stars because my kid burnt me out on it, and I cant seem to get back into it because theres so much new stuff to learn.

Everyone knows Minecraft, so there isn't much I can review on. It is just a classic and that's about it. It will always have a place in my heart as it grew my childhood. There are still updates to Minecraft to this day and each one keeps getting better and better with the developing team breaking barriers.

Minecraft! Honestly, probably the best game ever created. Simple concept and so fun to play. There are endless possibilities in Minecraft. Spent so much time in middle school playing Minecraft with fellow crafters and even reading the books.

Maybe the greatest game ever. So enjoyable for all ages with endless possibilities. I like that you can build whatever you want in creative and then work for all your things in a survival world. Also a great game to bring friends together.

I think Minecraft is a fantastic game with almost unlimited avenues for creativity. You can play in both creative and survival mode which offer very unique experience. I like to stream this game as it's something I can easily play for hours.

I think I have the most hours playing this game, purely because I could never stop making stuff. Although the survival mode has gotten very repetitive and grindy at times for me, I enjoy the creative aspects of the game like building in creative mode and playing multiplayer servers that have minigames. I wish I could match the levels of creativity of some servers' games and builds.

I love this game! It’s one of those game you can stop playing and come back months or years later and still have fun. Like recently I wanted to build a dam since I’ve been working on dams irl and what better game to make random creations? Minecraft! 1000/1000

I'm convinced people that don't like this classic are bored people. This game is the golden standard of sandbox games. It allows its users unlimited ability to create, mod, and adventure peacefully alone or with as many friends as they please with the server and realm options.

I know people who play, and have seen it played. It always looked fun. I thought with all the great reviews it was a 4/5 game easily. Installed it off gamepass on my PC, logged in. Played for 5 minutes. Logged out. Uninstalled. I love survival and building games. I loathe the mechanics and damn near everything about it. Not sure how it got as popular with other better games out there.

FAVORITE GAME EVER. This game is incredibly close to my heart, I've been playing it for 8ish years, started on the Xbox360, moved to Switch, then to PC. I've loved it every time I've played it. One of my favorite parts of the game is exploring the maps and finding all the wacky terrain generation because this game can make some super cool things and you can always find something new. My favorite part though is the building. There are so many materials to choose from and the only limitations are your creativity and the LACK OF VERTICAL SLABS LIKE COME ON MOJANG. seriously those wouldve been so helpful in so many of my builds. BUT. I digress. Building is incredibly fun for me, I really enjoy puzzling out themes and shapes and what materials to use. I used to build only in creative mode but recently I've really started to enjoy building in survival mode because it feels so much more rewarding and satisfying to gather all the materials myself and to see the final product in all its glory (Scaffolding is my favorite block because it is SO useful like omg). Minecraft has always been my favorite game, and then they added 1.17/1.18, The Caves And Cliffs update, and OH MY GOD ITS SO COOL. My favorite update ever, mountains were always my #1 biome because they look super cool, they generate weird usually, and they're a fun challenge to build on, so I'm super glad they got updated to be EVEN TALLER AND COOLER. and OH MY GOD THE CAVE. THEY ARE SO COOL AND I CAN SPEND HOURS JUST EXPLORING THEM. One thing I don't like about the update is how useless copper is but compared to everything I do like that's a miniscule complaint. The next update -- 1.19, the Wild Update -- was alright, it added some cool stuff but could never live up to the grandeur of Caves and Cliffs. But I've started to talk more about the updates than the game itself so I'll get back on topic. THE SOUNDTRACK!! Probably regarded as one of the best soundtracks of all games by many many people, it is by far my favorite. The original music by C418 is very relaxing and nostalgic for many, and the newer music by Leina Raine is so incredibly well done while still feeling like Minecraft music, albeit in a different direction. And while it isn't explicit or clear, I love the story of Minecraft. All these little hints and clue about what has been and what could be. Who built all these structures? Why are we so similar to the undead zombies but so different from the living villagers? What is the End? What is the Nether? Where did the sculk and the Warden come from? All these questions are so interesting to me and I love talking and theorizing with my friends about it. Honestly my favorite part of the game is that I can play with friends. I have so many amazing memories, from growing up playing the game with my sister, and making ugly diamond, gold, and emerald block houses in creative mode because we thought it was Cool, to playing on a small online server where I knew no one but made friends anyway and really got into building, to making a realm with my friends and almost crashing it, to collaborating on builds with my boyfriend and coming up with something neither of us would have thought of on our own. This game means so much to me and I am so glad that Mojang updates it for free so everyone can experience it together. Unfortunately Microsoft has bought Mojang and have started messing with things (such as adding insane moderation and perma-bans from all multiplayer servers and severely monetizing bedrock version) so I really hope that the game sticks through it and stays for ages to come. I would love to play Minecraft with future generations so I can share my knowledge and say "back in my day there were only 9 slots in a crafting table!" But yeah. Minecraft is an amazing game where you can do so many things, and I haven't even touched on modding or datapacks or texturepacks (because honestly I haven't done as much with those as I have base game things). 10000000/10 game, my absolute favorite and I encourage everyone to try it at some point

It's kind of impossible to rate Minecraft accurately, as it's only as much fun as your will to explore and try new things. Some will hate it, others, like myself, have played it since it we've been little. Minecraft is a perfect game for kids due to the creativity involved yet is also perfect for veteran gamers who want to give themselves a challenge. The game is entirely family friendly and even has its own user-run server base that you can explore and play with others on. Modding is also INCREDIBLE for this game if you play on PC. Through modding services such as Forge you can turn Minecraft into Pokemon through the Pixelmon mod which adds Pokemon, Pokemon Battles, and new items and structures to the game. If you don't like minecraft as the base game, there is are GUARENTEED ways to spice it up for yourself.
You just have to be creative.

Try Minecraft out, you won’t regret it.

My kids love it. They always want me to watch them build outrageous things that showcase they’re amazing creativity, but something about the asmr quality of the soundtrack puts me right to sleep. Still a great game… for them.

It's Minecraft, baby! The original developer guy outbid Jay-Z on a mansion, so tell me it's not good and I will tell you that you live in poverty because of your poor judgement.

Minecraft is great for kids and adults, and really the only bad thing about it is that they made 2 versions that aren't compatible and every time I start the launcher it's like, "What the heck, guys?"

Minecraft is a great game for kids, and you can turn on peaceful mode and just let them go at it and fly around and whack at things. It's great for adults and you can really spend time creating automated farms and building up really elaborate towns or bases or whatever you want. And you can still code your own mods in to the Java version, I assume, which is great for learning how to code, no matter what your age is. If you don't like Minecraft, you can get out of my face.
