"I made some progress on the backlog, so I'm counting it as a win. Still haven't started Baldur's Gate II or Ocarina of Time, and have abandoned Breath of the Wild and Phantasy Star III. I really want to get through Phantasy Star III because I hear IV ties a lot of things together. I also wanted to get through Final Fantasy 3-6, but have paused at 5, partially due to the releases of God of War: Ragnarok on PC, Space Marine II, and Echoes of Wisdom. Not sure I'll get through as many next year, as I've picked up Elden Ring, Skyrim, and Diablo II again..."

Our heroes, in this sequel, must return to the mansion to stop the evil purple tentacle at all costs in a time travelling adventure. (If you play it, use ScummVM or a regular 486/MSDOS PC with some form of MT-32 enabled... Amazing soundtrack!)"

So, that means for me, earlier Windows XP-era gaming, Xbox, PS2, GameCube... It's crazy to think about, as the Xbox did 1080i output for select titles. If these aren't retro, when do they become retro, and why?"
