Enjoy.

Jedi survivor took elements from the previous game and improved them. This took elements from the previous game and kept them the same. I found it to be more of the same and boring. Not to mention canonically bad. Shelob is now a woman? What? Its just a weird turn to take the series that was really cool and end with a weird marketplace.
This game.
It lulls you into a sense that you know what you are doing in the first starter area then get killed over and over. The worse part is trying to take down a big enemy then another boss comes wandering through and you are all of a sudden fighting 2 or 3.
I also have a love/hate relationship with the mechanic that you can kill someone and they can just come back all scarred.
I felt that Shadow of Mordor's concept worked really well, but Shadow of War detracted from the overall experience by doing too much copy/paste and rinse/repeat. It was a really nice touch to have the nemesis system carry over from one game to the next though!
Loved Shadows of Mordor. Shadow of War just built on what made the first one so great. Loved the Fortresses and having the armies. Also the expansions to this game were great as well.
Same formula as the first. Great abilities and skill tree. The nemesis concept was cool... but overall it can get repetitive. Still enjoyed the game but it was free on ps plus.
