Wow! What a return to the series! Brothership was such a love letter to the series so far. Overall the game was fantastic. The music was great, the gameplay was fun, and the battles were satisfying! Theres so much good to say about this game! But to keep things spoiler free, it's your standard fare Mario and Luigi adventure! The bros are brought to the world of Concordia and it's their job to put the world back together and save it from the disaster that looms overhead. This time around the bond between the bros is stronger than ever, improving their combat ability's and giving the players a fresh experience. Battles now have new combos and inputs that keep things feeling fresh while still having that fast paced M&L charm. Luigi takes on a big role of his own being able to split off from Mario and help solve puzzles at various points. He also brings his own form of logic to the table allowing for unique solutions and devastating attacks in boss battles. The real place where Brothership shines is in its story and characters. Every character gets their own little story wether they are just random people you help in a quest, or major players in the story. Overall there isn't much to complain about in this title. Some things that I disliked early on became nonissues as I got further and further. There were a couple moments where I felt like I was backtracking a lot but in the end it wasn't that bad. While I wouldn't say this this is the best game in the series gameplay wise, I would 100% say this has the best story in the series. If you've never play a M&L game before, give Brothership a try! It won't disappoint
