"251 weeks ago, @badintel commented on one of my posts about starting a Rocket League sub group because of the number of replies I had gotten in the main TDG FB page asking if anyone else played Rocket League. The page was created and in casually chatting with the admin @jordanstratton we decided to hold a tournament on that upcoming Tuesday. 8 players signed up and we had a 1v1 tournament. Thus began our weekly Tuesday Night Tournament that quickly evolved into the mixed rank 3v3 tournament that would host hundreds of players every week... Tonight that tournament will reboot, becoming the Channel 3 Tuesday Night Mixed Rank 3v3 Tournament, so make sure to tune in to the inaugural event! Over the past few years, I've met people from all over the world that I consider some of my best friends. Guys like @mcitaly and @muchmoosen whom I met in the EARLY days and I still game with every Friday night. Massive shout out to @jsu @bvr @papaab @daddymang @nasko0406 @ohmyfavourite @gongshowdad @bucket and @mrhoosier and all the other casting talent, and others that have been there so consistently and dependably to keep things rolling... The mods I still talk to daily like @dan and @rey who always have amazing input and advice, excited to work closer with them now as we transition to Channel 3. Not long after the Rocket League tournament took off, I got involved with hosting tournaments in other games like @apex-legends with @seenitcoveredit and @call-of-duty-warzone-20 with @chucksweat and @brookemonson . Even had a hand in helping with @fortnite on occasion. The Planters partnership was one of the coolest experiences I've had in gaming, it truly felt like working in professional e-sports. Over the years we've also partnered with professional players and high level streamers and content creators to raise money for so many different amazing causes. 2 years ago there was a professional Rocket League event in LA and a lot of guys flew out to be at the event, and I got to meet 30+ people from TDG and we had a big party at my house, it's something I'll never forget. All of these memories and more would have never been possible, and the fun wouldn't have been able to continue now on Channel 3 if it weren't for THE FOUNDER himself: @joel . I know we all love him, and it's impossible to say enough about the man. Thank you for all you do. And of course, I can't speak about memories without taking a moment to remember the men we lost along the way: Dale Stokes, Tartarus, and of course @rosey978 . So much love to them and their families, everyone I've mentioned in this post, and anyone I may have left out. It's been an absolute pleasure and honor to game with you all on this wild ride!"

"This is a really interesting match up because they're both Mario/Nintendo titles and both have SOLID arguments as to who should win. Difference being that MK8 is the final/current iteration in a series and Mario 64 is somewhere in the middle. MK8 benefits from updates, DLC, and a an active/engaged current player-base. Mario 64 still has speed running as a current, though somewhat niche player-base, but as a whole not currently as "relevant". My biggest argument for Mario 64 being the winner in this situation is the overall impact it's had on gaming as a whole. Mario 64 was revolutionary. It completely changed what we all understood to be possible with graphics, gameplay, and experience. It might be unfair to attribute all of those things to a single game, but I feel like this was the flagship for the era. I also want to note that if this was Mario Kart 64 vs Mario 64, I think Kart would have been my pick."

"I started streaming/hosting events for The Dad Gaming, and then COVID hit and I got laid off of my job. While I was on the job search, I started my own channel. I streamed my gaming sessions and integrated art/painting streams when I booked commissions. Built a really solid following and supporter base, the community aspect of streaming was an absolute blast, and my favorite part was making those connections with all of the viewers and fellow streamers. But, it wasn't quite paying the bills on it's own, so I had to get a job which took away from the incredible amount of time it takes to stream full time and be committed to it.
