Muppets Party Cruise is a party video game released in 2003 by Mass Media Inc. for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube consoles. The game takes place on a cruise ship called the Muppet's Party Cruise. The currency is party favors when unlocking stuff from the menu, but during gameplay players use cruise credits. Muppets Party Cruise has 6 playable characters: Kermit, Piggy, Animal, Fozzie, Gonzo, and Pepe. As well as 6 non-playable characters: Staler and Waldorf, Rowlf, Rizzo, Swedish Chef, Sam the Eagle, Bunsen, and Beaker. 30 mini-games, 15 of which the player has to unlock. And 5 levels: The Engine Room, Crew's Quarters, Quality Cabins, Star Suites, and Royal Staterooms. Players also have the choice between a long cruise and short cruise.

I'm a party game freak. I don't think there is one I dont own. So when I saw this recently added to the mix I had to put in my 2 cents. Other than the mapping to get mini games to function. This game was a pretty good mario party clone. Having great cut scenes and innovative maps made this game a gatta play. And as far as gamecube party game titles. It's in the top 5.

Mario Party, but with Muppets on a cruise ship! And truth be told, I enjoy these mini games more than any Mario Party I've ever played. (I played it on a PS2)
