Yes it's a button masher. But the story... wow. This sets the stage for BotW. It does a fantastic job taking you through Zelda's progression leading up to the Calamity. It is more about her Legend than any other LoZ I've ever played.

I played and loved Dynasty Warriors back on the PS2, so I was really excited to play this game. I just could not get into it. It became a chore just to try and finish the game for the sake of the story.

As other hace said, I loved the Dynasty Warriors games. I also enjoyed the first one of these games. But for some reason, this one just didn’t do it for me. I got bored about halfway through and never bothered to finish it.
