Enjoy.

Ah yes. Sony is at it again. New IP. New hit right?
Well. Yes.
You fight robot dinosaurs. The only thing that keeps me from giving the 5, is the crafting system. Why do we need to craft everything? It brought things down to a halt for me cause I had to stop progression to look for twigs for arrows.
Best open world game I've played since Skyrim. Never bogs down with grinding the crafting system, the story is excellent and lays the foundation for a great series, and the whole game is straight-up eye candy.
This game is a masterpiece. The mechanics are a little goofy at times, but the story overall is truly one of a kind. The views are breathtaking with a soundtrack that has never blown me away during the time of its release.
If there were enough of a catalog to support it I would play games in the "hi-tech primitivism" category exclusively. This game absolutely nails breadth and depth in storytelling, and provides some extremely satisfying combat. This game is equal parts Jurassic Park and Skynet sprinkled generously over a story of revelation, discovery and future mythology. An absolute blast!
Pros: Incredible story, fun gameplay and combat that never gets old.
Cons:The climbing is wonky to say the least. As large as the world is it can feel cramped sometimes with robot dinos on top of other robot dinos which can make stealth a non option.
TLDR: Incredible and original story with amazing graphics and combat. Some minor tweaks would put this game over the top.
Sony first party games are truly peerless. Maximizing the capabilities of the generation. A "fun" world to game in with a really creative hybrid setup. Recommended for anyone who can get their hands on it.
Nothing quippy to say here. This is the best open world video game I've ever played. The narrative, the gameplay, the design, the robot dinosaurs, the way it makes robot dinosaurs seem like a plausible thing....all just masterful work.
