Horizon Forbidden West is a 2022 action role-playing game developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. A sequel to 2017's Horizon Zero Dawn, the game is set in a post-apocalyptic version of the Western United States recovering from the aftermath of an extinction event caused by a rogue robot swarm. The player can explore the open world and complete quests using ranged and melee against hostile machine creatures.

It's an improvement, yes. But I still find the crafting system to be slow and unnecessary. The story is great, the acting is phenomenal, and some of the mechanics work so well, but crafting is unnecessary

I'm not done yet, but I adore the world created for Horizon. Aloy might be a Mary Sue, but I'm okay with it at this point.
Just FYI - story mode difficulty in HFW is even easier than story mode in HZD.

This was slightly better than the first (which was great). It looks amazing. Has some cheesy dialogue and REALLY long conversations, which you can skip, but taking down a giant robot animal has never been more fun. HIGHLY recommend for anyone with a PS5. Even the side missions don't seem like a slog.
