Hi-Fi Rush (stylized as Hi-Fi RUSH) is a rhythm-based action game developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks for the Windows and Xbox Series X/S platforms. It was announced and released worldwide on January 25, 2023. The game follows a self-proclaimed "future rock star" Chai (voiced by Robbie Daymond), who becomes a "defect" of an experiment that gives him a robotic arm and the ability to sense the rhythm of the world. Using this power, Chai and his friends face off against the corporation responsible for the experiments and its leaders. Hi-Fi Rush also includes licensed music from real bands such as The Black Keys and Nine Inch Nails.

This game is unique. Its not a generic, dark fantasy that is souls like and has you parry to the exact millisecond before you can do one iota of damage. Its more of a rythm game. It gets it. and the best part is, its part of the story. This game is great, I highly recommend it.

If you have game pass and have not played this game, then you are sleeping on a potential GOTY. Game is goofy and challenging. Reminds me of a Viewtiful Joe game with how wacky some of the game play is and also the comic style.

Honestly, a welcomed surprise for 2023. Highly recommend!
