Action, adventure, sacrifice pain and heroics.
What a game. And all without the chief.
Which is a great sign. They can make a good game not focused on the chief. Thus game explores the seminal tragedy before the events of Halo. And it gives insight into the spartan race.
Wish we could see more of this in games

Reach is the game that started my professional esports career. It will always have a bit of a soft spot in my heart, even though the game did kinda suck.

This was the first Halo game I ever played, and it was very good. Definitely something I think you can pick up and enjoy without knowing anything about Halo.
