Game was alright. Like most GTA's, I think I mostly just ran around committing random acts of violence and collecting properties to store my Cheetah race cars in.
This is the only GTA I've completed the story for. The soundtrack, and the overall sweet, sweet 80s vibes made this a true nostalgia tickler -- ya know, and also the guns and cars and ridiculous missions. I know a lot of people put San Andreas in their top spot, and I get it, but this is the all-time best GTA in my book.
By the time this came out, Scarface was my favorite movie & Scarface (the game) didn’t exist yet. I knew codes by heart & had maps memorized better than the layout of my hometown.
So, you take 3, make some upgrades to the gameplay, blow the soundtrack out, throw Scarface into a tumbler with Ray Liotta and Miami Vice and pour this out? Hell yes.
Amazing game, the soundtrack is one of the best all time. The people you meet and the carnage is second to none. I really hope Rockstar takes us back to Vice City soon.
