This game is one of my all-time favorites. Excellent campaign and variety of ways to play the game, will never get old. Phenomenal game would recommend.
Grand Theft Auto V is a classic with so many fun things to do with a group of friends or even racing by yourself in multiplayer games. From the casino, to an interesting story line, to any vehicle that you could imagine driving, the game is so much fun. It doesn''t get much updates, but I don't think it needs it as it is a classic and it already has so much to do within the game that it doesn't need much content updates.
Has to be the most unique and creative game I've ever played. Just when you think they have run out of items to add in the game they continue to add them. Can't wait for next GTA!
The hype for this game is just so overhyped to me. I expect six to be better though. But after awhile these tipped games get boring after awhile. You have to start to come up with dumb stuff to do now in this game for how boring it is now.
Awesome story, great vehicles and weapons, and a really interesting world to explore. I also loved the online mode, but between single player DLC being abandoned and the game itself continuously being re-released for over a decade, I'm itching for a sequel.
Have spent so much time playing Grand Theft Auto and still play occasionally. I very much enjoyed playing story mode and now I often spend time playing online with friends. Such a great game RockStar games is goated.
I may be going through the same thing I went through when trying to get into RDR2. I just can't get into it. I have a hard time controlling my self in a vehicle also. So far the characters are so over the top I want to mute my TV. I immediately quit and went back to RDR2. I'll keep giving this a try and update later.
This is actually the only GTA that I've ever completed. The story and acting and overall bonkersness of this game make it an all time banger. Not to mention that it's grossed like $6B or something insane like that. It's so fun to play and the characters are awesome to switch back and forth between.
This game was so good that even when someone kicked in my apartment door in Queens and stole my Xbox that contained my precious GTA V save file, I almost didn't mind, because I had a great excuse to start over and play the whole thing again!
If you said “travis, you can only choose 3 games to play for the rest of your life”, GTAV would be one of those games. I loved getting online with friends and competing in races, drug deals, holding up liquor stores, etc just laughing the whole time. The downside: If you don’t play enough then everyone gets the top notch gear to grief you & takes away the fun. I think of GTAV often, and the year I spent in Korea playing with friends & family back stateside as a way to still hang out.
This is the best GTA game to date. Just like with other Rockstar games of this nature, there is always something fun to do. My friends and I have spent countless nights completing missions, racing, golfing and just plain goofying around.
Granted this game is not for everyone as it has some mature subject matter but if you can separate reality from virtual and you like a little mayhem, then don't hesitate to play this game.
This will probably go down as one of my top 2 games along with the other Rockstar classic RDR2. Rockstar knocked it out of the ballpark with this immersive game. In addition to an immersive storyline, there is so much more to do in Los Santos and beyond. I can’t wait for the long awaited GTA 6!
This cash cow is being milked for all it is worth. I like the concept of multiple characters and the classic GTA open world. Love the therapist report you get at the end definitely has replay capability. Disappointed in the online play.
I am loyal to Vice City. As I do these reviews I'm noticing a correlation between the time I invested and how forward-looking the vision of the game was for its time. I can't help but feel like some things suffered between Red Dead Redemption and GTA V. Maybe Sony is to blame... I don't like sacrificing gameplay and responsiveness for graphics.
