Ghost of Tsushima is a 2020 action-adventure game developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Featuring an open world, the player controls Jin Sakai, a samurai on a quest to protect Tsushima Island during the first Mongol invasion of Japan. The game was released for PlayStation 4 on July 17, 2020, and a Director's Cut for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, titled Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut, was released on August 20, 2021. It received several award nominations and wins, and received praise for its visuals, art direction, and combat, but was criticized for its open world design. Ghost of Tsushima had sold 8 million copies by January 2022. A film adaptation is currently in development.

What a game, what a gorgeous love letter to Japan and to the Samurai way. This game invites you to explore and be immersed in feudal japan. But its also got a great story and a great combat system. Highly recommedn to play this with headphones and get lost in the soundtrack as you play

Incredible.

I know this is a weird comparison but this game has almost all of the things I love about Zelda BOTW and TOTK but with incredibly realistic graphics, excellent characters and dialogue, and a great story. Again, weird comparison, but just in terms of an open world collection of quests and all that.

This game is a masterpiece in every way.

This game is so beautiful. The story is amazing (and apparently going to become a movie in the near future.)
The combat is so satisfying and the world is fun to explore. Really the only thing I didn't care for was the awful red tint over the multiplayer missions, which I understand was an artistic choice.

You know when you play a game a few years after release and there was so much hype but then you play it and it's meh, this is not that game. This game is Utterly amazing! Story, graphics, combat are all 5 stars. Do not pass on this game.

I am still playing through this game and love all of it. The game is visually amazing, it feels great and the combat is really fun to hack and slash through hordes of Mongols. This is certainly on my top 10 list of all time.
