I purchased this game originally on the Wii U. Played it with family and friends at gatherings and was always quite successful. Fast forward a decade and system later, a string of new characters, and 64 new tracks since the release, this game continues to provide entertainment. Aside from online play issues including lag, it plays extremely well and in many ways has evolved into the premier online racing game.
Aside that, in many ways through the history of TDG, I believe it to be a corner stone in Channel 3 history and a main reason a lot of us are here calling each other friends. As
@calli said in chat last night, he would gladly pay $320,000 CAD (roughly $25 USD) for them to just release a whole other set of tracks to continue the game. Bravo, Nintendo.
