Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade
Really fun game! Loved the FE games on Gameboy, as that was the only system I had to myself at the time. Pretty simple to learn, but a blast to play!

What more is there to say about this game that hasn't been said? GBA FE games' combat is extremely simple but also extremely fun. Great story as well. The personal side-quests of visiting every village and full recruitment can also add to the enjoyment and challenge of this game on hard mode. The only slight problem with it is that the tutorials are very slow and somewhat handholdey which can be annoying on replays but also means this game is a great place to start with the Fire Emblem Series. This problem can also be fixed very easily using mods unless you're actually playing it on a GameBoy which...why? There's also a slight problem with uniqueness, with like 10,000 cavaliers and paladins and just as many axe users, but that's a minor problem at that. All in all, great game and a great game to start playing Fire Emblem with.

Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade
Nostalgia: This was perhaps a game changer for me. Having played other strategy games on PC, being able to take this on the road was revolutionary.
On top of that, the story and rock-paper-scissors dynamic made it all the more challenging and interesting.

Alright so this was my first ever game on the GBA. Fun fact, I would hang around the nerds in Middle School, you know anime club / Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards. Spoiler Alert, not my thing but one kid said hey check this out and introduced me to fire emblem. Maybe it’s cuz it’s combat but this turn based RPG stuck its claws into me and no looking back. I have always chased the high of this game, the rest of the series wasn’t for me
