*Laughs awkwardly into the distance*. Final Fantasy of a pop star? What? Then you play it and realize that its actually a beautiful story of people dealing with trauma. And their coping mechanisms. And the game suddenly turns into this experience of trying to resolve the past hurts. But the voice acting sometimes is off
Beautiful, thought-provoking game. Final Fantasy 10's whimsical world and memorable characters make it a standout in the series. Minus 1 star for Blitzball...
Overall excellent game in the Final Fantasy series. Second only to Final Fantasy VII. The story and characters were great and the gameplay, mechanics, and systems such as the sphere grid provided quite a bit of freedom.
Super fun game, great characters, great story, blitzball, and some....*ahem* "fun" ways to get the celestial weapons. The only small complaint I have with this game is that the maps can be somewhat linear, but a miniscule complaint in the grand scheme of things.
The first Ff Game for the PS2 and I remember being blown away by the graphics. Last great story of the FF franchise. The ones following aren’t bad, but nothing like 6-10. Also one of the first with voice acting, which helped build the story so much more.
Ff10 also had one of the greatest side activities with Blitzball. I’d find myself recruiting players and playing blitzball for hours. It was just a very well made game in all aspects
The voice acting is legendary rough but this game was so good they had to make their first true sequel. The fight style was great with the order, different yet in the traditional turn based realm.
One of the best FF games made. Very hard to say which is my second favorite between this and VIII. I have to say that the graphics might take this to the second spot, although the whole blitzball thing was not impressive to me. Guess it was a nifty idea, just not my cup of tea.
