Elden Ring
Elden ring was the first souls type game i played since bloodborne. I didn’t exactly know what i was getting into when i purchased this game. Enter the lands between where you travel a massive map trying to bring rule back to the chaotic land and be king. There are 6 different endings with 5 being quest specific ones (some more invoked than others).

This game from what I’ve played is much easier in a way than the other bc of all the resources and abilities you have. Jumping is very much broken in this game and so can be riding your horse in battle. You obtain a large amount of different summons throughout the play through that help. Choose how you wanna play (str int wisdom). Get really cool detailed armor weapons and accessories by defeating enemies and opening chests.

At first the game was a bit confusing bc i didn’t realize the checkpoints pointed you to where the main story led. Once i figured that out by exploring it made more sense. The lands between is filled with vile enemies landscape and NPC’s that sometimes you wanna kill (choose wisely).

As you proceed through the game it gets more chaotic certain paths start to close depending on what you choose to do / follow making you have to replay the game (NG+). As i played i found myself exploring a lot and got distracted from the main story bc there is just so much to do in terms of side quests and just trying to explore every inch of the game (there’s a lot of hidden things from the story)

Overall the game is well designed. The bosses are all a challenge in their own way. The map is wonderfully designed and a pleasure to travel through. The npc’s in the game are fun interactive and sometimes aggravating (looking at you patches). It’s very much a replay able game that offers fun different ways to play differently each time if you so choose once you unlock the ability to reroll your stats.

Elden Ring
Since I was reminded about Elden Ring because of the QOTD lol

Elden ring is a great game, but some of the boss designs, particularly around the end of the game were just so over the top in bullshit that it kind of defeated the purpose for me. And there was also stuff that was legitimately just broken, like rolls not coming out until like half a second after you press the roll button or hitboxes that don't line up with attack animations AT ALL

For an example of this check the picture I dropped where you can clearly see that the Crucible Knight's sword was NOWHERE NEAR me but this is the frame that I died

Again though I would say that the vast majority of my time spent in the game was awesome, just feel like I need to justify not giving it 5 stars lol

Elden Ring
Elden Ring hooked me from the start! It's my first Souls-style game, and the challenge was tough but so satisfying. The grind felt like progress, and each win was a big deal. Exploring the massive world was a blast. I always found something new around the corner. Elden Ring has made me a fan of this gaming style, and I'm hungry for more!

Elden Ring
Such an awesome game. Its still pretty hard but there is enough to do in other areas that you can grind out a few levels before going back. I have yet to beat the game but have well over 30 hours into it and loving every second.

Elden Ring
"Try fingers, but whole" (if you know, you know). Saying this is one of the greatest games is beating a dead horse. I advise anyone who is thinking about playing it to just do it. This isn't even my type of game and its now one of my favorite of all time. If they drop some DLC I am in trouble.

What can I say about Elden Ring that hasn't already been said a million times over its great play it. let me just say this if you've ever gotten tired of beating games all the time try this and let the game beat you.

Elden Ring
This game I find something genuinely special, it really is a game that comes down to, trial and attempt. This game can let you tackle any challenge the way you'd enjoy playing, all it is how much will you put into outside stuff to advance your character and there is a lot. For anyone who wants a challenge or is simply a fan of the series I strongly recommend this game for this game has so much to offer, and the freedom if something is too challenging to go and advance somewhere else before coming back. A game that's not purely based on your skill, a game that rewards you for doing more.

Elden Ring
Before playing Elden Ring I thought everyone that "enjoyed" a Dark Souls/Soulsbourne game was just straight up lying or out absolutely of their mind. The games felt so unapproachable, not fun, and unnecessarily hard. BUT that all changed for me when I played Elden Ring. After putting in about 25ish hours I saw the draw. The reward and joy you feel after experiencing that first boss take down, so good. I decided to stop and go back to Dark Souls Remastered and I regret nothing. I don't roll credits, but I have now rolled credits on DS1 and DS2... half way through DS3. Love these games now, love FromSoft... I get it now, thanks to Elden Ring.

Elden Ring
I was super excited to try out my first souls game... until I actually started playing. This game will steal thousands of hours of my life if I allow it. VERY difficult, but I can see the appeal.

Elden Ring
Like a lot of people, this was my first "souls" game, and truth be told, I was sidelined by the "difficulty" and almost regretted my purchase and let this sit for about a month before bravely picking it up again...and this is what I found: the game is no different from being Mario Bros difficult, or any other older games that you've most likely played. I've grown soft with regenerative health, map/quest pointers and companions in other games that I forgot that sometimes the best way to enjoy a game is to keep failing at it. My biggest advise for anyone intimidated on playing this is to play "freely" and do not listen to online commentary about getting "gud." Level up or farm as much as you want because eventually you will hit a point wherein you start feeling like an actual hero. This caters solely to you and not anyone else's opinion.

Elden Ring
This is my first Souls game and it delivered big time. The game is as difficult as advertised. What really amazes me is the amount of bosses and that each one presents its own, unique challenges. I am 75 hours in and I still haven't completed the map. Even with so many hours logged, I still am enjoying the story and the slow, but steady progress I am making.
