I am willing to play this game again and am open to changing my initial rating, however my first play-through fell short of expectations. Movement seemed slow and clunky, and the items didn't seem to affect the game that much. Will definitely do a different dungeon setup next time.
Being a fan of the BossMonster world and Mario Kart I was looking forward to this game. It did not disappoint me. I have played several "Kart style" board games and this one feels the most like Mario Kart the Board Game. After playing a preview round at GenCon I backed the top tier of the Kickstarter and got every element for the game available.
The Bosses are tired of luring heroes to their demise and decide to enjoy a "friendly" kart race around the dungeons. The track is completely modular. Race over spell books to learn spells that you may use against the other racers. But look out. The heroes have made their way onto the track and cause you to spin out.
