Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest is a 1995 platform game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was released on 21 November 1995 in Japan, and in December 1995 in North America and Europe. It is the second installment of the Donkey Kong Country series and the sequel to @donkeykongcountry (1994).

This game is everything a sequel should be. A fun, expanded world of the first one, with different type of controlers but familiar enough to feel like its still the same game. Its so good, it might be better than the first. The level design is what makes it for me.

Diddy and Dixie were way better to control and had better functionality than DK. I still love the original SNES Donkey Kong but I like this one better.

Quite possibly the pinnacle of SNES platform gaming. From the mechanics to level design to music, it doesn't get much better or more nostalgic than this. Brb, firing up the SNES Mini.
