Diablo IV is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, and is the fourth main installment in the Diablo series. The game was announced on November 1, 2019 at BlizzCon 2019, and on June 12, 2022, a 2023 release was announced. Series features such as re-playable, procedurally generated dungeons, and loot-focused character-building will return, while new features such as an open world, and player versus player (PVP) interactions will be incorporated. Five playable classes have been announced—Barbarian, Sorceress, Druid, Rogue, and Necromancer—all of which have appeared in the series. Players guide their character through quests and combat in the world of Sanctuary as the once banished Lilith returns to wreak havoc.

Really needs some end game content that doesn't feel like such a chore. 60 to 100 feels like an absolute chore. Great story, gameplay, rarely an issue with multiplayer. Overall awesome game.

I was a huge fan of Gauntlet Legends back in the day on N64 and later Baldur's Gate on PS2. The top-down, dungeon crawling, magic casting madness was a ton of fun, and Diablo IV feels like a nostalgic nod to those origins while also keeping it fresh with flexible leveling up/respecing AND a great story.

I gave this game initially a 4 - 5 but after getting through most of it, its gone stale. Like really stale, don't even wanna log in stale. Probably end the season 1 where I'm at and just pick it up again later.
