Enjoy.

I was going to rate this lower, but I realized that there is a reason this game is still going. They have made it interesting to the players, and even though I stopped playing it years ago, I still see an active player base. That must count for something. I just always saw a sequel to a live service game to be pointless, but these guys are making it happen, somehow
Good co op game and me and my wife enjoy it. Down fall is we got sick of playing the same missions over and over again for the entire season but campaign is on part and very fun and is also co op.
Through its highs and lows I still always felt myself coming back to this game. I've never played a game that has felt as good as it does. Then go and throw some of the coolest stories and lore on top of that and you have a game that has earned its almost ten-year stay in the gaming industry.
I have no clue how I ended up playing this game but I can't stop. I love the mechanics and beginning to learn the customization's. For the game being relatively old it does a good job of on-boarding a new player. You just gotta take your time and grind it out. The game does give you back story on any DLCs you don't have. You can play all the campaigns from each new DLCs but you have to buy DLCs to do more online things like raids (I think; haven't gotten that far). Its a good change up though when it comes to gaming. I am just going to keep playing and learning as I go. I figured if I can learn Elden Ring by just playing I can do the same with this. More to come as I learn.
I remember playing this day 1, and having your light taken away. It was an awesome experience. Coming out of D1, it definitely was different. I haven't played since Foresaken basically. Love Destiny, and doing the raids and things with buds. Just don't have the time to grind anymore.
It’s a good game with some fun mechanics. I tried getting back into this but I couldn’t quite do it. Seemed like a big learning curve to be competitive online again.
this game is SO PRETTY AND SPACE IS SUPER COOL AND THERES SPACESHIPS AND GUNS GO PEW PEW AND THERES COOL FIGHTS AND YEAH. I love playing with my friends and customizing my outfits and learning about the lore. Oh God the lore. No amount of 5 hour long video essays will be enough to cover the lore of this game and the first one. I got into this game pretty recently actually (started around december 2021 and actually got into it around summer 2022) which is funny cause I play with two Destiny veterans who know a lot more of the story than I do, so when, for example, a boss from the start of the game shows up, I'm just like "oh cool guy!" when my friends are like "OMG ITS GLORBUS FROM THE BLEEPBO RAID!!" Anyway I also like space and they do a good job with space stuff so I approve. I can also be bright pink and hurt everyone's eyes so its basically the best game ever
I've dabbled in this a bit. It's not a bad game, honestly, and I'd probably enjoy it/understand it more if I played with a crew of people who've been playing awhile, but jumping in solo, I feel pretty lost. The combat feels good, I just couldn't get into it enough to spend a lot of time figuring it out or to justify paying for any of the content beyond the free base game.
I played this game religiously during the Destiny 1 days. Every Thursday night was raid night with the fireteam. These days, I don't have the time to grind it as much as is necessary to keep up with all the elements of the game, but I still respect it for what it is. Always up for jumping back in, but it's not a go-to anymore.
