This game has the ability to take over your life. Extreme Replay-ability as it reward players who understand the game and choices well. There are a variety of victory conditions, and leadership abilities which lead to a different feel each time you play.
What is it: civilization is a turn based strategy game that allows you to grow your people all the way from the ancient era to the future. Fight other civilizations, natural disasters ans barbarians as you expand your territory across the map.
This game is fun and challenging to play against the cpu led civilizations but is enhanced by multiplayer which allows you to play with others.
For a fun bonding experience, I recommend setting aside time to play hot seat mode with family members.
I am not sure I will ever be able to say that I am good at this game, but I will certainly have fun trying to improve.
When I first got my switch at age 10 this was one of the games I got. But being a ten year old the game doesn’t really make much sense but what I do remember is that building up the armies and building up my world was the best part even though I failed almost every time at that that I had to ask my dad for help
Perfect? No. But the shift to districts, hexagonal grid, and no longer stacking armies makes it so that I don't even remember how to play the older Civs. I find it much more fun, and the DLC content is great.
Not as fun as Civ V, but it's still Civ so it will always be enjoyable. You get to do whatever you want in building your empire, that will never not be fun.
