Enjoy.

Wow! This game was a pleasant surprise. I thought this was going to be just a gimmicky little game. The fighting is fun, but can get repetitive at times. The side quest are all fairly short and fun to complete. The map is big, but easy to traverse quickly through. All in all a fun game! I have beaten the main game and will probably play some of the end game stuff!
Cat Puns and borderline adult humor reaching the level of Animaniacs make this game more enjoyable than I expected it to be. I also love the huge map and the play style of running around and either spamming one attack button or planning out magic and then spamming one attack button. The story was also deeper than I expected when I bought the game and I found myself looking forward to that progression.
For me, the only downside is that the battles tend to get monotonous. Especially on subsequent playthroughs where you really outclass everything or everyone you come into contact with.
All in all it's a fun game for the $4 price tag it was on sale for and I'll definitely check out Cat Quest 2 and 3 if I catch them on sale later.
Scored it for less than $3 on an eShop sale. Just finished the main storyline with my kids heavily invested in the story. Probably going to sink a few more hours into leveling up and meeting the post-story challenges. We liked it enough to have Cat Quest 2 on this list to grab next eShop sale and will probably grab Cat Quest 3 when it comes out in August. Is more or less purr-fect for what it is.
Do you like cats? Do you like cat puns? Do you like RPGs? If you answered "yes" to all 3, then this is the game for you. A fun little RPG that isn't overly complicated, and is a good time to just chill with.
