What's your favorite memory of The Dad Gaming?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
This isn't an easy one. There's so much I got to experience and be a part of through TDG, it's not a period of my life I'll ever forget. There were plenty of ups and downs, fun times, loss... I can't truly say there was one favorite memory.

- The shift from freelancing to working for TDG was nuts, but so much fun. @joel and the Some Spider folks had landed the Planters sponsorship and so I got brought on to coordinate that, and if anything was "boy, that escalated quickly", that would be it. We had all the different tournaments for The Dad Gaming League, but Fortnite itself pulled somewhere between 700-800 participants and we (having no esports experience 😂) had to figure out how to manage multiple waves of people trying to get in and play on a sorta strict timeline. On top of that, we added all kinds of goofy things people could do to win prizes and it was just comedy 😂

- Getting involved with all the charities we did, especially The Cure Starts Now/Nerf Cancer and getting to meet the Varns/Addison

- Helping out with the Call of Duty "May Day" event we got to be a part of, volunteering to help fill in if they needed any backfills on any teams, and randomly getting paired with Aidan (who I had coincidentally written an article for on The Dad maybe a year before) and another major streamer. That ended up giving my stream (that I ironically barely use 😬) such a viewer/follower boost that I picked up affiliate on Twitch that month 😅

- Probably one of the biggest things would have to be the Friday Night FUBAR I ran (semi) weekly for the COD subgroup. We couldn't stream it on the TDG channel because the fact we all hung out in one big discord chat and got into 💫antics💫 made the language tend to go a bit off-brand, but we had some of the most fun just doing some crazy custom matches there (oh, and finding people who decided to randomly go AFK in a match, spray paint them, then pose all around them for "group photo" screenshots before molotov-ing everyone 😅)

An oldie but a goodie. I "went afk" during a Friday Night FUBAR match with the The Dad Gaming folks. Had a little surprise for them at the end.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Brought the CoD franchise back to life in my opinion. Good variety of single player missions that kept it modern and fresh. Multiplayer was fun but at the same time CoD went really HAM on the micro purchases. They were all cosmetic but it made the game look goofy after a while. I really liked WWII but this was the best CoD since Modern Warfare 2.

When they told us too kill the baby and mom it sent chills down my back and across me because the fact the asked me in the game to kill them and they were innocent sent chills

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
This was the best COD game since the original MW trilogy back in 2010. They kept everything simple and went back to the basics which made the COD games blow up back when COD 4 came out. This game was responsible for making Warzone as popular as it was and if MW2 stays close to this formula, it will be a great sequel when it releases later this year

In 2021 I got a last minute opportunity to join in on the big MayDay Warzone tournament with a couple of high tier players (including Aydan, who I had written an article for The Dad about). Those two guys carried me to my first ever Warzone wins, it got me affiliate, and I had a great time!
