I really didn't play that many games on the Wii, but the games I did play, I played the hell out of. Wii Play (especially the tank game) was one of the few games that I even managed to get my wife (then girlfriend) addicted to

Maybe not following the assignment exactly, but I'm a really big fan of scale in games. When I see something that just makes me go "wow".

Elden Ring - Going into the well for the first time
God of War - Everything really but in particular the world serpent
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth - Just overall really impressive but when I saw Junon I was like "yeeeeessss!!!!"
Assassin's Creed - I just loved climbing buildings and looking at everything around me
Bioshock - Got thalassophobia the first time I went into rapture (lol)
Mega Man X3 - This is less about scale and more about just how cool it looked especially given that it was on SNES. It honestly still holds up
Sonic Adventure - Perfect Chaos was the rawest thing I'd ever seen in gaming up to that point
Final Fantasy X - ^^^ But for Sin. The idea of being in the ocean with a whale swimming next to me is terrifying, so you can imagine that Sin had a major impact on me
Metal Gear Solid 4 - Kind of similar to Mega Man X3 it's not so much about the scale but just how damned great everything in this game looks

Not ordered, but I'd probably put the original mega man x or DKC 2 in my number 1. Numbers 1-7 are games I spent a shitload of singleplayer time on and 8-10 are games I spent a bunch of time playing with my friends

I've spent a ridiculous amount of time on all these games. Morrowind is the only game I've every played where I put in a 16 hour day on it

I don't usually play bad games long enough do develop a full on hatred, but there's one in particular that stands out, which is Mega Man X6. By far one of the laziest and worst games ever made by a AAA studio
