Banjo-Tooie is a platform video game developed by Rare and originally released for the Nintendo 64 console in 2000. It is the second game in the Banjo-Kazooie series and the sequel to Banjo-Kazooie. The game follows the returning protagonists Banjo and Kazooie as they attempt to stop the plans of the witch Gruntilda and two of her sisters, who intend to vaporise the inhabitants of the game's island setting. The game features worlds significantly larger than those of its predecessor, requiring the player to complete challenges such as solving puzzles, jumping over obstacles, collecting items, and defeating opponents. It also includes a multiplayer mode where up to four players can compete in several minigames repurposed from the main campaign.

Probably the best sequel ever. Take every single element from the old, and make it better. Literally, everything in this game is an improvement.
Movement. better, banjo moves better
Levels, better, more creative, more whimsy, interconnected
Power ups. Better,
Collectibles. better, no longer relying on a reset system every time you went into a world.
story, better, now triple threat and there is a dead to avenge.

This game is probably the only game I would put up there with majoras mask as top 2 of all time

A rare (see what I did there?) sequel that was better than the first. A sprawling, platformer collect-a-thon with memorable worlds, enemies, and the classic Rare humour.

This is a game that I've searched too long to find for a decent price that I might end up caving and buying it online. I loved Banjo Tooie. It is even better than Kazooie (which is a hard feat), and it is pure Rare goodness.

Banjo kazooie one was already challenging and this one came and upped the difficulty still. The size of the game was impressive for the time and the addition of different eggs and multiplayer really let this sequel stand out from the original.
