Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia was revealed in 2020, and, like Battle Trainer, was given negative reviews, albeit both when it was revealed and when it was released. It is the first Bakugan video game made by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developed by WayForward, which isn't refenced in the trailer, but rather in the in-game credits and this link. It is also the latter's second title to be exclusive to Nintendo Switch after Vitamin Connection.

Fantasy Violence
This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of a student who uses monsters (Bakugan) to engage in turn-based brawls against opponents. During battles, players collect power-ups as their monsters take turns slashing, biting, and striking each other. Bakugan can also execute special attacks (e.g., fire blasts, laser shots); battles depict impact sounds, light effects, and blasts of energy/fire.

Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia is an all-new action role-playing game with an original story that expands on the hit TV series and brings the Bakugan universe to the Nintendo Switch for the very first time. The adventure takes players on the ultimate Bakugan journey as they befriend powerful creatures known as Bakugan, gear up and customize Bakugan teams for fiercely strategic battles, and master their skills to become the Champion of Vestroia. Players can also play online in head-to-head multiplayer.
