I've played more games than I can remember and I've spent more time playing them than comprehensible to my own brain. I also stream on Twitch when I can get my brain juices flowing.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Animal Crossing New Horizons on its own would be 4 stars due to the lack of content and features that were present in past games that are no longer available. HOWEVER, with the introduction of the Happy Home Paradise DLC, the game earns back its lost points with new types of content and a ton of new homes to build for your favorite (and least favorite villagers). I won't get heavy into the details to make sure I don't spoil any content for people thinking about the game, but it will be well worth your time and money to buy if you've enjoyed animal crossing in the past or have a knack for designing your own island civilization.

But even without the DLC, the game is still extremely solid. The new abilities to customize almost EVERY aspect of your island and the amount of control you're given to craft the island of your dreams is phenomenal. I've never had more fun designing homes than in this game due to the heavy customization options you get for every little design and detail you can think of. The new custom pattern options are the cherry on top with brand new ability to make a large variety of clothing options and the creation tools only making it more satisfying.

The only gripe I could truly say I have with the game is the lack of content when it comes to villager interaction. The characters don't have as much personality as the past games and can even be a bit repetitive when it comes to dialogue options. This is only a small complaint though and doesn't take away from the beautiful island that will be yours to terraform to your will.

Overall, 5/5

Try Animal Crossing: New Horizons out. You won't regret it.

Minecraft
It's kind of impossible to rate Minecraft accurately, as it's only as much fun as your will to explore and try new things. Some will hate it, others, like myself, have played it since it we've been little. Minecraft is a perfect game for kids due to the creativity involved yet is also perfect for veteran gamers who want to give themselves a challenge. The game is entirely family friendly and even has its own user-run server base that you can explore and play with others on. Modding is also INCREDIBLE for this game if you play on PC. Through modding services such as Forge you can turn Minecraft into Pokemon through the Pixelmon mod which adds Pokemon, Pokemon Battles, and new items and structures to the game. If you don't like minecraft as the base game, there is are GUARENTEED ways to spice it up for yourself.
You just have to be creative.

Try Minecraft out, you won’t regret it.

Seems pretty fun if you enjoy cocaine and have the reaction time and movement speed of a starving cheetah.

my wrists regret this torturous anime speed clicker.

Brawlhalla
Possibly one of my favorite games of all time. I've got 2000+ hours in the game and I've played for over 4 years and I don't plan on stopping.

Brawlhalla is a FTP (Free to play) platform fighting game (like Super Smash Bros.) that emphasizes itself on stage control, movement, and reading your opponent. Combos are also an integral part of the game and can be highly satisfying to watch at higher levels of play. This can make tournaments a spectacle to behold if the players are going after the massive prize pool that BMG (Blue Mammoth Games), the creators of Brawlhalla, provide to most major tournaments and even some minor tournaments. You can almost always find some sort of content on their twitch page (linked here: https://www.twitch.tv/brawlhalla) if you wish to see what gameplay can be like. They even host events with the community to interact with everyone and recieve feedback for the game.

Now, as for gameplay, its important to remember that the game is free to play and will remain that way so they have to monetize somehow. There is a weekly character rotation of 9 character which you can buy forever by using IN GAME currency accumulated by playing matches and completing challenges. You also have the option to spend $20 and unlock all of the 50+ current and future characters to be added to the game (which is a pretty amazing deal if you ask me). Cosmetics are not necessary for gameplay and have no impact to gameplay other than visuals but can be nice to have if you find a character you really love. Some cosmetics are even released for seasonal events and color schemes for your characters can always be bough with IN GAME earned currency from your hard won battles.

I highly recommend giving Brawlhalla at least a try if you're curious. It won't cost you anything and you could discover your new quick and casual game or a passion for it like I did. (You won't regret it hopefully)

Happy brawling!

Absolutely one of the best (if not the best) games in the series and its an absolute blast to play no matter the situation. Perfect for both 8 person parties, 1 on 1 duels, or even the solo players out there. If you have even a shred of interest, try it out. You wont regret it.

Pokémon GO
Played since launch and I still love it. The game is perfect for anyone trying to get active or for those who travel, but is still accessable by those who just want to stay home and chill. I'd very much so say the game is causal friendly and the community has always been amazing. There are even community events held in real world places and specific days for people to get out and GO!
The only issues I'd note are the occasional lag spikes for community events, that it can be hard to get items if you live in the middle of nowhere, and that you will find yourself lost sometimes because you decided to go after a snorlax that was just around that corner but you never found it so you got lost in an entirely different place and you still don't have a snorlax.

I recommend it.

Rocket League
Played the game for a good few years and I've mostly enjoyed it throughout all of it. The only problem I'd have with it now is how heavily monitized the customization is but it doesn't affect gameplay at all. The community's got plenty of people in it and its not hard to start playing with it being free to play on most platforms. I recommend it but be aware that the microtransactions can be a bit egrigous. Have fun!
