"There's two that stick out to me, but they tie in to the larger picture of joining Channel 3 this year: 1. The Longest Day - seeing everyone be so supportive of the charity stream meant a lot, and I had plenty of fun playing upsidedown, blindfolded with oven mitts on 😅 2. October - This was a really rough month for Cass and I. And once again, this community pulled through and showed amazing love and support. I'm being serious when I say if it wasn't for the Kart Cr3w, I may have stopped Karting for good. Instead, tomorrow I'm buying the new Mario Kart LEGO sets as a way to never forget the Cr3w's kindness. Neither of these moments are as successful or as hopeful as they turned out to be without Channel 3. "1st place coin item mechanic. You're in first. Blue shell can target you, you have people in the back that can target shock you. Why does the item RNG have to make you start the race with no defense 9 times out of 10? There's an extra layer of competitive players that purposely go slow at the beginning to increase their odds of having defense with 2nd or 3rd place items instead of risking being out in the open with a coin in 1st as 2nd pulls a red and immediately spams it on you. Note: This mechanic is the main one that bugs me because it adds more to the anti-front running problem. I'm okay with bagging because there are some tracks where it is the most optimal by design. Blue shell is fine in this game because there are so many ways to negate it or lessen the blow. But 1st place item RNG makes it way too easy for 1st to get punished for being the better driver, especially after first item set in the race."

It used to be a sign of defiance when I kept playing Yoshi in competitive against all of the other Waluigis. Waluigi was meta for so long. And back then DK and Roy had the same stats. With Yoshi, you have Birdo, Peach, Daisy, and Peachette, along with all of the colors too. Why do you stream? [Or why would you?]

"Streaming makes gaming feel more purposeful to me. I'm chatting/playing with viewers and friends, I get to meet new people, and any money I earn goes to Alzheimer’s Association. And because of all this, it feels fun! The more interactions I have, the more I want to pour into it to improve because it's still fun to me. If it starts to feel like a chore or I start dreading streaming, that's when I'll probably have to ask myself the hard question of if it's worth it anymore. Hopefully that's not anytime soon!"
